Missing Dundalk-Area Woman Found Dead in Car

Baltimore County police report there are no apparent signs of foul play in the death of Linda Ann Foster, 56.

A Dundalk-area woman reported missing from her home since Oct. 29 has been found dead in the car she was last seen in as she drove away from her home, according to a Baltimore County Police Department spokesman.

Linda Ann Foster, 56, of the 400 block of Oriole Avenue, was last seen at about 11:30 p.m. Oct. 29, and her family members reported her missing the following morning.

Just before 3 p.m. today, county police were called to Franklin Square Drive near Oswald Way, in the Rosedale area, for a report of a dead person in a car, according to officer Shawn Vinson.

The body was identified as that of Foster, according to a statement from Vinson. Detectives said there were no apparent signs of foul play, and the cause of death will be determined by the state medical examiner.

When Foster left her home, she did not take a cellphone or medications with her, and it was unusual for her to leave without explanation, family members told police at the time.

She did take some family photographs with her, but no other personal belongings, according to police officials.
