David Hyland, Neighbor

Born and raised in Keithville Louisiana I come from a large "very country" cajun family.  I'm an only child with 2 half siblings which I will talk about later in the blog. I Graduated from High School in 1983 and joined the Army. Went to Germany and guarded Nuclear Missiles the whole time during the cold war.  After discharge I ended up working on Off Shore Oil rigs as a Stweard "Cook". It was good money in dangerous conditions.  After that I found work aboard Cruise Ships and went all over the earth working in the Hotel Department. Once I got married the traveling stopped. I got a position with Amtrak doing the same thing a flight attendant does, only on a train. I was injured on a NYC run , had to have major surgery , and my train days were finished. I started learning this thing called a Computer and was hooked from day one. I read until I'm blue in the face, keep up with all the tips and tricks, and decided to start my own business. CompuDoc Services was launched in 2005 and it's been going ever since. I do ON-SITE repairs for Home Users and Businesses. I keep my fees down to earth so anyone can afford to get the repairs they need. Aside from CompuDoc Services, I am the President of The Colgate-Northbrook-Eastpoint Improvement Association, Inc. Also known as Colgate Improvement Association.  We've worked hard to get this community involved . Our website just hit 12,950 visitors. We have a mass email system, an auto dialer for emergencies, Facebook and Twitter accounts, and we try to keep the community informed. I work hard and have fun every chance I get.
