About Anna

As a lifelong resident of Baltimore County, most of it in Essex, I connect with folks around town through a variety of groups and many different activities.  I love to share information and learn about what's happening!

Over the past three years, I have written the editorial columns for THE AVENUE NEWS. Since the fall of 2010, I have been writing columns for the EXAMINER.com about "Cancer in Baltimore," "Environmental News in Baltimore," and most recently about "Soldiers Deployed in Baltimore."  AND, I write "ANNA AROUND TOWN" for the Essex.Patch!     Please feel free to browse all the items I write and let me know what you think.

As of February 2011, I have become a published author. My book, "Anna's Journey: How many lives does one person get?" chronicles my travel through eight bouts of cancer and other near death situations.  Hope to discuss the book with you.

I love to hear from my readers!

Bin Laden Post: How did you feel when you heard the news that bin Laden was dead? Did you shout for joy? Did you say a pray for a lost soul? Did you say finally and then move on?

Do you feel the President made the right decision NOT to release the photos? Do you feel there is a need to see the photos? Can we trust that enough men and women are in the know of what happened in Pakistan to feel confident bin Laden is really dead?
Are you tired of hearing about this particular news story?

Relay for Life season is here. Essex Relay teams are raising funds for a worthy cause. Do you know that monies raised at RELAY stay within the community to provide services to cancer patients and their caregivers?
Watch examiner.com/cancer-in-baltimore/anna-renault for detailed articles that relate to RELAY FOR LIFE, where you can find team fundraisers, and info about where the money goes!!!
If you have comments, questions or stories to tell, I look forward to hearing them.
