At the Essex Library (BCPL), I teach the free computer classes. I volunteer at Franklin Square Hospital serving on the Patient Advisory Board. I am a member of the Holly Neck Conservation Association and the On Purpose Networking organization for women in small business. In July 2011, I was elected the vice-chair of the Baltimore County Cancer Coalition. In October, 2011, I was selected to serve on the Early Detection Subcommittee for the Maryland State Cancer Control Plan with the Dept of Health and Mental Hygiene.
I support the Back River Restoration Committee and all its efforts. As a life-long member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, I now serve on the Parish Council, the School Board and the liturgy committee.
In March 2011, I became a published author of "Anna's Journey: How many lives does one person get?" and in August, I became the host of an internet radio show, "Anna's Journey."
