Police: Rosedale McDonald's Robbers Forced Manager to Empty Safe
The Kenwood Avenue fast food restaurant was robbed at gunpoint on Oct. 19.
A Rosedale-area McDonald's store was robbed at gunpoint late last week. At about 5:12 a.m. on Oct. 19, an employee was waiting for the opening store manager to arrive at the McDonald's in the 6300 block of Kenwood Avenue. She was approached by two men who led her at gunpoint to a nearby car wash to await the arrival of the store manager, according to a police report. When the manager arrived, the men approached, with the victim in tow, and demanded to be let into the restaurant, the report said. Once inside, the robbers ordered the store manager at gunpoint to turn off the security alarm and lead them to the office, where they demanded that she empty the safe, the report said.
