Photos: Poe Pays Visit to Chase ES
The Wednesday assembly is part of a year of fitness-related programs at the school.
Before the kids at Chase Elementary School sat down to turkey, they got a chance to hang out with a bird of a different feather Wednesday. Ravens mascot Poe dropped by for an afternoon assembly, a tie-in to the NFL's Play60 campaign. Students danced, watched videos from stars like Ravens running back Ray Rice and showed off some of the things they've learned about personal fitness. Wendy Adey, a Chase Elementary teacher, said that the school has regular "brain breaks" featuring Play60-themed videos created by Chase students.
