The Ravens came within a field goal of advancing to the Super Bowl before losing 23-20 to the New England Patriots on Sunday in the AFC Championship Game. While the loss obviously left a lot of fans feeling upset, how would you rank the Ravens overall season?

Local residents display their love for the Ravens as they prepare to face the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game.
The time for talking is just about over. At 3 p.m., the Ravens will face the host-New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game. The winner earns a spot in the Super Bowl on Feb. 5 in Indianapolis and the loser heads home for the offseason. For weeks, fans across the area have showed off their support for the Ravens in a variety of ways. From holding a pep rally, to decorating a business to just wearing anything and everything with purple and black. Will you be actually in Foxboro, Mass. for the game? After four straight years of making the playoffs, Ravens fans and players are expecting to beat the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game and advance to Super Bowl XLVI.
Nicole Massoni didn’t mince words when asked what she expects the Ravens to accomplish this season. “This is our year and I think we are going all the way,” Massoni said. Massoni, a member of the Middle River-based Ravens Nest 8, is expressing a view similar to hundreds of Ravens fans across the region in the days following the NFL team’s 20-13 victory over the Houston Texans in the AFC Divisional round. The Ravens will play the New England Patriots at 3 p.m. Sunday in Foxboro, Mass., in the AFC Championship game with the winner going on to Super Bowl XLVI on Feb. 5. Disappointed on the touchdown call, but beside myself at the missed field goal. I so believed that the score was about to be tied that I left the room for a beverage. My mom, who stayed glued to the game screamed, "OH NO!!" I ran back to the TV to see the shank-full replay! I still can not believe the Ravens will not play in the super bowl...   more ›
