After four straight years of making the playoffs, Ravens fans and players are expecting to beat the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game and advance to Super Bowl XLVI.
Nicole Massoni didn’t mince words when asked what she expects the Ravens to accomplish this season. “This is our year and I think we are going all the way,” Massoni said. Massoni, a member of the Middle River-based Ravens Nest 8, is expressing a view similar to hundreds of Ravens fans across the region in the days following the NFL team’s 20-13 victory over the Houston Texans in the AFC Divisional round. The Ravens will play the New England Patriots at 3 p.m. Sunday in Foxboro, Mass., in the AFC Championship game with the winner going on to Super Bowl XLVI on Feb. 5. Disappointed on the touchdown call, but beside myself at the missed field goal. I so believed that the score was about to be tied that I left the room for a beverage.
