The coming of a new year is a chance to reflect on the trials and triumphs of the past year, and look to the future. In 2013, Baltimore-area Patch editors have a variety of goals, from weight loss to wedding planning to spending more time with family and friends. Country Band Offers 'Hometown' Fans New Year's Eve Celebration

Dean Crawford and the Dunn's River Band will rock in 2012 with a party at the VFW Post No. 2678 in Edgemere.

Dean Crawford might live in Reisterstown, but he has always considered eastern Baltimore County “home.” The lead singer for country music group Dean Crawford and the Dunn’s River Band knows much of his fan base resides in places like Dundalk and Essex and tries to perform in the area as much as possible. But in recent years, Crawford said the band has spent New Year’s Eve performing out of state, something that didn’t sit right with him. “The more we thought about it, the more we knew we wanted to bring in the New Year with the people that love us the most,” Crawford said.
