White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company junior cadets assisted with netting and loading trees this weekend.
Holly Isaacs said she used to buy her Christmas Trees at Lowe's or Home Depot. "Now we support local. It's been two or three years since we started getting our trees here and we love it," said Isaacs, an Overlea resident. She was one of hundreds of community members who bought her tree and trim from the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company so far this season. This weekend, volunteers and junior cadets also sold wreaths, garland and pit beef sandwiches. Santa helped with sales, as well. "We've sold a lot this year—a lot of first-time customers.
