County Announces Holiday Closures

Trash collection schedules will also change.

Baltimore County has announced closures for the upcoming holidays. District and Circuit courts, health department clinics, libraries, senior centers, landfills, drop-off centers and the county animal shelter will be closed on Christmas, Dec. 25., and New Year's Day, Jan. 1, 2013, according to a news release from the county. The CountyRide van will also not run on those days. County residents who typically have their trash collected on Tuesday mornings should instead set it out at night on Christmas and New Year's Day—which are both on Tuesdays—for Wednesday collection, the release reads.
