Two men stole jewelry and money Nov. 14 from Sobo Gold Buyers in Pikesville.
Police have released a sketch of a man who held up a Pikesville gold buyer at gunpoint last month. In a news release Monday, police ask anyone with information on the suspect to call the Baltimore County Police Department at 410-307-2020. At about 6:30 p.m. Nov. 14, a man armed with a gun confronted an employee outside of Sobo Gold Buyers, located in the 700 block of Reisterstown Road. He forced the employee to walk back into the store, according to the release. Meanwhile, another suspect came onto the scene. The two stole jewelry and money, then ran. A father and his two daughters, ages 4 and 5, were bound with duct tape and forced into closet by two armed robbers on Thursday.
Police are investigating a Thursday home invasion robbery in Essex, which included forcing two young girls into a closet at gunpoint. According to police reports, a 50-year-old man was about to leave his home, located on the unit block of Bayview Court, around 11 a.m. with his daughters, ages 4 and 5, when two men wearing masks and displaying handguns approached them in his garage. Police are searching for two suspects in Monday's armed robbery of 1st Mariner Bank.
Baltimore County police are still looking for two men wanted in connection with a brazen armed robbery Monday afternoon at a Middle River bank. According to police reports, the two men—who wore ski masks and had guns—entered the 1st Mariner Bank, located at 176 Carroll Island Road, around 3 p.m. One of the suspects jumped on the counter and told everyone to get down while the other suspect demanded to go into the vault, police said. A bank employee told the suspect she was unable to get into the vault and he then started to take money out of the drawers, according to police reports. Police are investigating two separate armed robberies against deliverymen who work for the same Domino’s Pizza in Essex. The robberies took place on Oct. 25 and Oct. 27, respectively, with cash, a cell phone and food being taken in each case. Both victims told police that there were two suspects involved and in each case, the attempted delivery was to a home where the resident said an order had not been placed. Despite the similarities, Baltimore County police spokesman Cpl. A 16-year-old girl was robbed at gunpoint while working as a cashier Thursday at a Walgreens in Middle River. The robber entered the pharmacy, located on the 400 block of Compass Road, at around 7:45 p.m, according to police reports. The male suspect displayed a handgun in his waistband and ordered the cashier to give him all the money. The victim told police the robber fled with $240 and was last seen running toward Compass Road. Police said the suspect is approximately 25 years old, 5-foot-8, 150-160 pounds. The suspect went behind the pharmacy counter and demanded painkillers, Baltimore County police said.
A man seeking prescription painkillers robbed a CVS store employee and pharmacist at gunpoint on Oct. 24 in Essex. The suspect entered the pharmacy, located in the 500 block of Eastern Blvd., around 8:30 p.m., according to police reports. He then walked behind the counter, displayed a gun and demanded prescription narcotics. The employee and the pharmacist told police that they gave the suspect a bottle of Oxycodone and Percocet before the man ran out of the store. Witnesses described the suspect as a white male, 35-45 years old, 185 pounds with dark hair. He wore a black hat, black jacket and black jeans.
