After months of anticipation, the have finally arrived in Middle River.

The famed naval pilots will be performing at 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday over Fort McHenry as part of the Star-Spangled Sailabration, the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812.

But, when not flying over downtown Baltimore, the Blue Angels will be stationed at Martin State Airport. They have already been seen flying over town in preparation for this weekend's performances.

As part of the celebration, Martin State Airport will host the Star-Spangled Aircraft Display and Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 16-17. The Blue Angels, will take off from and land at the airport those two days prior to performing over downtown Baltimore.

Thanks Patch reader Jim Whittaker for providing some of these photos of the Blue Angels stay in town.
