Here's what's happening around town this weekend.

Most of your Saturday will probably be spent preparing for, watching and reacting to a certain NFL playoff game. But here are other ideas to keep you busy this weekend. Jimmie's Chicken Shack celebrates its 20th anniversary with a show at Rams Head Live.

The School of Rock Baltimore plays the music of Van Halen and Rush at the Ottobar in Charles Village. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the show starts at 6 p.m.

Saturday

The Baltimore Ravens face Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos in the divisional playoffs. Kickoff is at 4:30 p.m. and the game will air on CBS. The high on the field there could only reach 23 degrees with the potential for snow showers, Accuweather says. The winner of Saturday's game faces the winner of Sunday's Texans-Patriots game for the AFC title next week.

Load up for the game and grab some groceries—or some mid-morning grub—at the 32nd Street Farmers Market in Waverly.

The School of Rock returns to the Ottobar for a full day of performances, including a Rush tribute, a tribute to WHFS and 1970s music. Doors open at 11 a.m.

Comedian Jim Gaffigan performs two evening shows at the Modell Performing Arts Center at the Lyric.

Towson University's men's basketball team (8-8, 3-0 Colonial Athletic Association, riding a four-win streak, aims to go 4-0 in the CAA with a noon tipoff at home against Northeastern. Adults tickets are $12. Children under 12 and seniors are $8.

Sunday

The School of Rock hosts a third day of performances at the Ottobar, including 1970s music and another tribute to Van Halen. Doors open at 11 a.m.

White Marsh Mall will host a casting call for the American Girl Fashion Show, to be held in March at the Hippodrome.
