Girls Soccer: Eastern Tech Falls in Region Finals
Mavericks bid for a state title ends with 1-0 loss to C. Milton Wright in the Class 3A North title match.

C. Milton Wright won the Class 3A North title with a 1-0 win over Eastern Tech in the regional finals at Harford Community College.
With the win, C. Milton Wright advances to the state semifinals, where it will face Urbana on Saturday at CCBC Essex. Urbana won the 3A West title with a 3-0 victory over Damascus.

Eastern Tech finished its season 14-3-1. It also marked the last game for the Mavericks’ six seniors: defender Kelsey Schanberger, midfielder Kelly Fernandez, midfielder Tiffini Rolfes, forward Bree Gain, midfielder Allison Williams and forward. Sierra Higginbottom.
