CCBC Sports Notebook: Oct. 22

Here are the past week's highlights from CCBC Essex athletics.

Soccer: CCBC Essex's men's (8-6-1) and women's (7-6-1) soccer teams both advanced to the NJCAA Region XX Division I playoffs. The third-seeded men will face No. 2 College of Southern Maryland in the semi-finals on Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Harford Community College. The winner goes back to HCC on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. for the championship against either Harford or Hagerstown Community College.

The women, also third-seeded, will face No. 2 Harford Community College on Thursday at 5 p.m. at HCC. The winner advances to the championship there Saturday at 11 a.m. against the College of Southern Maryland.
