Boys Basketball: Kenwood Seeks to Continue Winning Ways

The Bluebirds will go after their third straight win Wednesday when they host Patapsco.

Following a tough two-game losing streak, seeks to win its third straight game when it hosts Patapsco at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in Essex.

Kenwood (12-3) is coming off a 69-55 win Friday against visiting Perry Hall. In that game, guard Travis Jenkins scored 15 points, to go along with 6 assists and 6 rebounds for the Bluebirds.

Also, junior guard Levan Jones finished with 12 points and 8 rebounds, while senior forward Johnathan Richardson contributed 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 steals for Kenwood.

Other contributors for Kenwood included junior guard Dana Johns (9 points, 4 rebounds), junior forward James Brogdon (6 points, 12 rebounds, 3 steals) and
junior forward Keith Moody (8 points, 4 rebounds).

The win over came two days after Kenwood crusied to a 68-32 win over Essex rival .

Kenwood has seven games remaining on its schedule, including another contest at state power Milford Mill on Feb. 13. Milford Mill (13-2) is ranked fifth in the latest Varsity Sports Network Top 20 poll.
