Sandalwood Elementary Closing Early on Friday: Officials
The school was having power issues, Baltimore County Public Schools reported.
An elementary school in Essex will have an abbreviated school day due to power issues, Baltimore County Public Schools reported Friday morning.
Sandalwood Elementary School in the 900 block of South Marlyn Avenue in Essex, will closed at 1:30 p.m., according to the report.
According to BGE's outage map, the issue was reported at 7:07 a.m., the utility company was assessing the condition and a repair crew was on the way as of 9:55 a.m. The cause of the outage was under investigation, BGE said
