Bluebirds on the ‘Run’

At Saturday's Bull Run Invitational at Hereford, Kenwood coach Mark Planamente said both the boys and girls team competed well.

"The course was very difficult, but a great experience for the runners considering it is the site of the state meet,” Planamente said.

Senior Shawn Strasdauskas and Jada Boyd were the top Kenwood runners, as both placed 37th in their respective races. The Bull Run is one of the most competitive races in the state and attracts schools from all over the region.

“All of the runners were positive about their performances and exceeded my expectations,” Planamente said.
