Prostate Cancer Seminar

Franklin Square Hospital Center will host a free community seminar on prostate cancer on Thursday, September 29 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

September is National Prostate Cancer Awareness month. And there’s a good reason to keep this type of cancer top of mind.

According to the American Cancer Society, one in six men will develop prostate cancer in his lifetime. The disease is the second-leading cause of cancer death in men and the second most common type of cancer in men (after skin cancer). Dr. David Perry, Chief of Radiation Oncology and Director of the CyberKnife Program at Franklin Square Hospital Center, will explain the various treatment options, including CyberKnife®, at the seminar, which will be held at the hospital.
