13 Essex-area Teachers Among 19 Honored by Chamber

The Chesapeake Gateway Chamber of Commerce will honor 19 county educators this week.

Thirteen Essex and Middle River teachers are among 19 county teachers to be honored by the Chesapeake Gateway Chamber of Commerce at the chamber's awards and installation dinner Thursday at Martin's East.

The 19 Baltimore County Public Schools teachers were selected by the chamber's education committee based on nominations from chamber members. Honorees are selected based on service, leadership, extra-curricular involvement and respect from students and fellow teachers.

Superintendent S. Dallas Dance will be on hand to congratulate the educators.

  • Tammy Jackson, Kenwood High School        
  • Harri Mullenax, Mars Estates Elementary School
  • Ashley Morin, Hawthorne Elementary School
  • Matthew Clifford, Middle River Middle School
