The Fitness Rave Wins Best Gym in Essex-Middle River

The votes are in and the people have spoken loud and clear. The Fitness Rave is the Readers’ Choice award winner for best gym in the Essex-Middle River area.

Overall, 204 votes were cast and The Fitness Rave flexed its muscles by garnering 104 of them. Those who voiced their support for The Fitness Rave, located at 740 Concourse Circle within Baltimore Crossroads @95, offered passionate responses at how the studio has impacted their lives.

"The Fitness Rave is a whole new concept of working out," wrote reader Nadia Lauer. “By far the best and most personal gym I've ever been to; and I've been a member of just about every local gym at one time or another in the past 10 years.

"The focus is on group exercise and Lydia and the other instructors are amazing. They make working out so much fun and really push you to your potential."

was among the other local gyms that received votes. Located at 518 S. Maryln Ave., Shirley’s received 65 votes and also some positive feedback from its loyal clientele.

"I’ve been going to Shirley's for years," wrote Theresa. "Always a friendly greet, clean, and I feel safe tanning here. You can get a good workout and tan all in one stop.

"Shirley is always willing answer any question you have. They have no problem with placing you on hold so you don’t loose any of your paid time if needed. I highly recommend Shirley's Tan & Tone."
