Powerball Jackpot Grows to $200 Million

Two Maryland Lottery players won $200K second-tier prizes following last Saturday's drawing; next drawing is set for Wednesday night.

The multi-state Powerball lottery game has reached $200 million for Wednesday night's drawing, according to the Maryland Lottery.

This comes as two lucky Maryland players are now $200,000 richer after winning a second-tier prize following Saturday's Powerball drawing. Those winning tickets were purchased at Tom’s Liquors, located at 1592 Annapolis Road in Odenton, and 7-11, located at 6570 Coventry Way in Clinton.

The winners matched all five white balls, only missing the Power Ball, to yield the $200,000 prize.  Winning numbers from the drawing were 12, 20, 43, 51, 55 and Power Ball 11.

Powerball drawings are held in Orlando, Florida and can be seen locally on Wednesday and Saturday evenings at 11:22 p.m. on WBAL-TV, Channel 11.  The multi-state game is played in 44 jurisdictions.
