Overnight I-95 Work Will Cause Detours for Essex-Area Drivers
Crews are slated to perform bridge demolition work this week as part of the state's I-95 Express Toll Lanes project.
The Maryland Transportation Authority has announced roadwork that will close portions of I-95 overnight throughout this week, causing detours for area drivers.
Weather permitting, crews will demolish bridges and remove the debris this week, according to the following schedule:
Monday, March 11, and Tuesday, March 12, from midnight to 5 a.m. the following morning, all lanes of northbound I-95 at the MD 43 interchange (White
Marsh Boulevard) will be temporarily closed for overnight work.

Traffic will be detoured to Exit 67A (eastbound White Marsh Boulevard), to eastbound MD 7 (Philadelphia Road), to westbound White Marsh Boulevard, to
northbound I-95.
Wednesday, March 13, and Thursday, March 14, from midnight to 5 a.m. the following morning, all lanes of southbound I-95 at the MD 43 interchange (White Marsh Boulevard) will be temporarily closed for overnight work.

Traffic will be detoured to Exit 67B (westbound White Marsh Boulevard), to southbound I-95. Police will be directing traffic across at the intersection.
The work is part of the reconstruction of the I-95/MD 43 (White Marsh Boulevard) interchange for the Maryland Transportation Authority’s I-95 Express Toll Lanes Project.
