I-95 Due For Overnight Closures Next Week

Northbound traffic will be diverted at the White Marsh exit for roadwork.

Motorists headed north on Interstate 95 might find a bit of a detour during the overnight commute next week.

All northbound lanes of I-95 will be closed between midnight and 5 a.m. on March 4 through March 7 at the White Marsh exit, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.

The work, to demolish and remove a bridge, is weather pending.

The $142.6 million project involves the reconstruction of the I-95 interchange at MD Route 43. The work is on target to be finished next year.

Closures took place for the bridge carrying I-95 over Campbell Boulevard last week.

Next week's work will help replace the bridge carring MD Route 43 over I-95.
