Woman Shot Following Middle River Argument

A 47-year-old woman was transported to Maryland Shock Trauma after she was shot, police said.

A 47-year-old woman was shot following an argument with a friend early Monday morning in Middle River.

Baltimore County police spokeswoman Detective Cathy Batton said officers were called about 5:15 a.m. to a home on the 100 block of Covered Wagon Road. When police arrived, they found the woman shot, Batton said.

The woman, Batton added, was transported to Maryland Shock Trauma where her condition is unknown.

Batton said charges are pending against a 57-year-old man suspected of shooting the woman. The identities of the victim and the alleged shooters have not been released.
