Police: Woman Reports Attempted Sexual Assault

The victim told police a man entered her home late Friday night with a knife.

A 35-year-old woman reported an unknown man tried to sexually assault her inside her home on the 900 block of Punjab Drive late Friday night.

According to police reports, the woman was in the bathroom of her home at about 11:30 p.m. when she saw a man walk toward her with a knife. He then allegedly confronted the woman, pulled down his pants and put a condom on before the victim screamed.

This led the suspect to flee the house in an unknown direction. She believed the man entered the house by prying open the front door and attempted to assault her as her 5-year-old daughter slept in a nearby room.
