Wilson Point to Host National Night Out Event

The community gathering is one of about 30 set for Tuesday night across the county.

The Wilson Point Community Association will host at Wilson Point Park from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday as the community joins others across the country in celebrating National Night Out.

Law enforcement agencies hope communities use the 28th anniversary of National Night Out to show how much they support police and care about safer streets and reducing crime.

According to a Baltimore County Police Department news release, more than 37 million people in more than 15,000 communities nationwide came together last year to strengthen the police-community partnership against crime.
