But the nightclub is also dealing with the aftermath of another stabbing that occurred early New Year’s Day. In that case, a brawl outside the bar around 2 a.m. led to another stabbing. Police have charged five suspects in connection with that incident.

Baltimore County police spokeswoman Elise Armacost said the suspects charged have been identified as Chantell Antonio Johnson, 35, of Essex; Sonny Bernard Allen, 25, of Rosedale; Desalvo Spartacus Goode, 28, of Middle River; Warren Frederick Lloyd Jr., 21, of Baltimore, and Geronimo Pacer Harding, 34, of Dundalk.

All were charged with attempted first-degree murder and are being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center. In addition, Goode and Harding were among those stabbed, Armacost said.

“The owners are very concerned about the violence,” Hlavach said. “They have taken several steps to attract a better clientele. They want to comply and make sure the area is not only safe for the patrons but for the community as well. We’ve definitely seen an improvement since New Year’s.”
