Two Men at Large Following Middle River Bank Heist

Police are searching for two suspects in Monday's armed robbery of 1st Mariner Bank.

Baltimore County police are still looking for two men wanted in connection with a brazen at a Middle River bank.

According to police reports, the two men—who wore ski masks and had guns—entered the 1st Mariner Bank, located at 176 Carroll Island Road, around 3 p.m. One of the suspects jumped on the counter and told everyone to get down while the other suspect demanded to go into the vault, police said.

A bank employee told the suspect she was unable to get into the vault and he then started to take money out of the drawers, according to police reports.

At the same time, the other suspect jumped over the counter grabbed one employee by the shirt and another by the hair and ordered them to the safety deposit box room, the report continued.

The suspects then tied the employees’ wrists with zip line before escaping, police said. According to police reports, an anonymous female found money with red dye on it at Eastern Boulevard at Bengies Road in front of the McDonald’s and gave it to police.

Police said the first suspect is described as male, 5-foot-8, 160 pounds and wore all dark clothing with “security” written on the back of his coat. The second suspect is described as male, 6-foot-1, 175 pounds and wore a grey sweatshirt and jeans.
