Two Eastern Tech Grads Killed in West Virginia Crash

The fatal accident happened Saturday afternoon on I-79 in West Virginia.

Two recent Eastern Tech graduates were among the four people killed in a car crash on West Virginia's I-79 Saturday afternoon.

Tavon Frisby, 20, and Cameron Shields, 19, were killed when their vehicle crossed a median on the highway and collided with another vehicle, according to reports from FOX45.

Frisby and Shields were on their way home from orientation at the University of Charleston, where Frisby was planning to major in business.

Also killed in the accident were 40-year-old Steven Ranjo and 87-year-old Leo Ranjo, a father and son from Philadelphia.

Police continue to investigate what caused Frisby, who was driving the vehicle, to cross the median.
