Three Arrested in Middle River Street Robbery

Police say a man chased down one of the robbers.

Two men and a juvenile were arrested last week in connection with a street robbery in Middle River.

Shortly after 8 p.m. on Oct. 11, three males approached a man and woman near the corner of Pawnee and Middle River roads, according to police. One of the males asked for money and cigarettes. The woman said they had none, according to a police report. One of the males then pushed the woman to the ground and grabbed her purse, then fled.

The man with her chased down one of the alleged robbers. The purse was recovered, with $20 missing.

Theodore Henry Wdzieczny, 18, of the 1500 block of Dornton Avenue in Middle River, was identified by police as the suspect who the man chased down. Police also arrested Derrick Lamont Allen, 20, at his residence in the 1500 block of Becklow Avenue, and a juvenile.

Wdzieczny is charged with theft, robbery and two counts of second-degree assault. He remains in the Baltimore County Detention Center in Towson on $50,000 bail. Allen is charged with theft, robbery and one count of second-degree assault and is being held on $25,000 bail.

My old next door neighbor -- and people wonder why I moved the hell out of there. White trash....

When we lived next to that "family" the police were at the house at least once a week. There was more "traffic" in and out of that house by juveniles than a Royal Farms... The police wouldn't do anything, and we couldn't even figure out which kids (15 and older) lived there and which were just crashing there. A slum lord owns that house and he won't kick them out because his rent is being paid by the state. -- They brought the whole neighborhood down the tubes....

Teddy and Vikki -- two of the local criminals -- they run with so many people, we could never figure out who actually lived in 1514 and who was just crashing... The police refused to do anything about all the "activity" going on. They are both on the fast track to a long time in prison.
