Saint Clare Parish Vandalized, Burglarized

Three boys were arrested Sunday for allegedly using the parish's fire extinguishers throughout the church's school, for allegedly stealing items and setting a small fire.

 

Three boys were charged as juveniles with burglary and other related charges after they allegedly stole items and destroyed property Sunday afternoon from the .

According to police reports, the boys—ages 13, 12 and 11—allegedly entered the church’s school building, located in the 700 block of Myrth Ave., through an open side door. Once inside, police said the boys allegedly sprayed several fire extinguishers throughout the school and in the parking lot.

Also, the report continues, the boys allegedly stole a variety of items from the school and defaced school property by writing profanities throughout the building with a black marker.

Police added that the boys also allegedly started a small brush fire outside the school while playing with matches. Police said they discovered the boys around 3:25 p.m. Sunday after officers and the Baltimore County Fire Department extinguished the fire.
