Police Seek Help in Identifying Middle River Liquor Stores Robbers

Two armed men allegedly robbed Oak Grove Liquors on Sept. 24.

Baltimore County police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects wanted for an armed robbery at a Middle River liquor store last month.

told Patch the suspects entered Oak Grove Liquors, located on the 300 block of Holly Drive, at 10:15 a.m. on Sept. 24 and robbed a male and female employee at gunpoint. The male employee then got into a struggle with one of the suspects and was struck in the head with the gun.

The suspects then grabbed about $150 from a drawer and ran off, according to a police department press release.

At that point, Batton said, the male employee retrieved another gun from the store, chased the suspects and fired a “warning shot.” The gun used by the employee was registered to the store’s owner, according to reports from the Baltimore County Police Department.

The male employee was treated for a head injury at the scene and refused to be taken to the hospital, Batton said.

According to the news release, the first suspect is described as a black male, in his 20s, approximately 5-foot-10, with a thin build. He has a heart-shaped tattoo under his left eye, and a tattoo of a spider web on the center of his throat.

The second suspect is described as a black male, also in his 20s, approximately 5-foot-10, 180 pounds with a mustache.

Employees at Oak Grove Liquors declined to comment on the incident.

Anyone with information the suspects is asked to call Baltimore County Police at 410-307-2020 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7-LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587). Those wishing to help can also text a tip to Metro Crime Stoppers to "CRIMES" (274637) or send information online via www.metrocrimestoppers.org.

Tipsters to Metro Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and might be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
