Police Seek Family of Essex Crash Victim

Joseph Allan McCoy, 54, was struck by a motorcycle as he attempted to cross Eastern Boulevard on Nov. 25, police said.

Baltimore County police are asking for the public's help in finding the family of a 54-year-old man struck and killed by a motorcycle as he attempted to cross Eastern Boulevard last month.

Police said Joseph Allan McCoy attempted to cross the westbound lane of the Essex road at about 7 p.m. when he was fatally struck. Since then, officers have attempted to locate a member of McCoy's family, but have so far been unsuccessful.

In a news release, police describe McCoy as a white male with grey hair and brown eyes. He is 5-foot-10, weighs 135 pounds and his last known address is 406 South Clinton St. in Baltimore, the release continues.
