Police Search for Man who Threatened Essex Homeowner with Knife
Victim discovered the suspect breaking into his house on Monday, police said.
Police are searching for a man who allegedly broke into a man’s Essex home Monday afternoon and threatened the resident with a knife before escaping, Baltimore County police said.
The 42-year-old homeowner was in his upstairs bedroom when he heard loud noises coming from downstairs, according to police. When he went to investigate, the resident was confronted by a man wielding a knife.
The homeowner told officers he was able to eventually run out of the house and got a neighbor to contact police. The suspect then fled through a bathroom window — the same one he broke to enter the house — and ran toward Middleborough Road.
