Police Investigating Suspicious Death in Essex

The body of a woman was found in a home on Grovethorn Road.

Baltimore County police are investigating the suspicious death—now being classified a homicide—of a woman this morning in Essex.

According to a news release, officers were called to a home on the 300 block of Grovethorn Road at approximately 11:18 a.m. on Monday. The call originally came out as a cardiac arrest, but police found the woman deceased at the scene. The victim was suffering from injuries that appeared to be suspicious in nature.

Police are currently investigating this case.

There is no suspect information available at this time and motive is unknown.
