Police Investigating Pair of Middle River Burglaries

Two homes were broken into just blocks apart at about the same time on March 29, police said.

 

Baltimore County police are investigating whether a pair of home burglaries last week in Middle River are related.

According to police reports, two homes located just blocks apart were burglarized some time between noon and 2:30 p.m. on March 29. One of the burglaries took place on the unit block of Center Section Road where someone entered a home through an unlocked front window and stole an Xbox 360 Kinect video game console, police said.

Around the same time, a home on the unit block of Manifold Court was burglarized, according to police reports. In this case, police said, someone broke a side door window to enter a home and stole a handgun, various pieces of jewelry, $200 and a bottle of Percocet.

In both cases, police interviewed neighbors who offered similar descriptions of a white male, around 5-foot-10, 150-160 pounds, in his early to mid 20s, near the homes at the time of the burglaries.
