Police Investigating Murder Outside a Rosedale Club

A man was shot multiple times outside Club Baltimore on Pulaski Highway early Saturday morning.

(UPDATED 6:20 p.m.) A man was fatally shot in the parking lot of a nightclub in Rosedale early Saturday morning, Baltimore County Police Detective Cathy Batton said.

The shooting took place outside of Club Baltimore, located in the 8000 block of Pulaski Highway, Batton said.

Police were called to the club at 1:51 a.m. for a report of shots fired. When officers arrived, Batton said, they discovered a large disorderly crowd. Five people were arrested outside the club for disorderly conduct, but none of those are believed to be a suspect in the shooting.

The victim was identified as George William Bryant Jr., 36, of the 1500 block of Pentwood Ave. in Baltimore. Batton said he had been shot multiple times and was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

One officer was slightly injured during the commotion. Another officer used a Taser to subdue one person during the incident, Batton said.

A preliminary description of the suspect is that he was a black male in his 20s and may have left the scene in a vehicle, Batton said. Police are seeking the public’s assistance for leads in the case.
