Police Identify Middle River Man Struck by MARC Train

Robert Ey, 26, of the 900 block of Middlesex Road, was struck and killed by the train May 1.

A 26-year-old Middle River man has been identified as the person

Baltimore County police said Robert Ey, of the 900 block of Middlesex Road, was walking south on the tracks around 7:15 a.m. when a train traveling about 100 mph hit him near Northeast Creek Road and Schaefer Lane in Rosedale.

According to a police news release, investigators ruled Ey's death an accident. The accident caused delays for commuters, who had to be transferred to another train.
