Police Identify Man Who Died at Rosedale Gas Station

Police officials believe Robert Wynder Jr. was shot at a different location and drove to the station.

Baltimore County police have identified the man found shot to death outside of a Rosedale gas station early Sunday morning.

The victim was identified as Robert Wynder Jr., 23, of the 1700 block of Montpelier Avenue in Baltimore City.

At about 4:30 a.m. Sunday, Baltimore County police and fire personnel responded to the Shell gas station at 6321 Kenwood Ave. in Rosedale for a report of unknown trouble, according to a statement from police officials.

When they arrived, officers discovered an adult male in front of the station suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

He was declared dead at the scene.

Detectives have since learned that Wynder drove to the gas station in a four-door gold Honda Civic. He got out of the car and collapsed on the parking lot. Detectives believe Wynder was shot at a different location.

There is no suspect information at this time, according to Cpl. Cathy Batton, a spokeswoman for the Baltimore County Police Department.
