Pizza Deliveryman Man Assaulted for Food Order

Police are seeking two men suspected of attacking the victim and running off with food on Friday night.

A pizza deliveryman was attacked and robbed of his food by two men late Friday night in Essex.

According to police reports, the 50-year-old deliveryman went to deliver an order—consisting of three pizzas, a bottle of soda and two boxes of chicken—around 10 p.m. to a home on the unit block of Moline Circle.

The victim, who was unharmed, told police he knocked on the door of the home several times with no response. He went to call the home when the two suspects approached him and told him it was their food.

The suspects, according to the report, then began arguing with the victim before they assaulted him, stole the food and ran between the row of houses between Moline Circle and Sandalwood Road.
