At 11:22 p.m. on Monday, first responders were called to the 1100 block of Tace Drive in Essex for a robbery, the report from police said.
According to preliminary investigation, a 20-year-old man was making a pizza delivery when he was approached by three people, stabbed in the upper body and robbed of his personal property, the report said.
Police said the victim was taken to the hospital. The victim has since been released, according to The Baltimore Sun, which reported he was a student working part-time for the pizza business.
This was the second robbery of a driver from the Back River Neck Road restaurant this month, The Baltimore Sun reported.
According to Forbes, being a driver was the eighth most dangerous job in the U.S. last year.
