No Injuries Reported in Rosedale Apartment Fire

About 100 fire personnel battled the blaze Sunday night in the 9100 block of Abigail Drive in the Canterbury Apartments.

No injuries were reported in an apartment complex fire in Rosedale Sunday evening.

Baltimore County firefighters were dispatched to the Canterbury Apartments off of Philadelphia Road at about 8 p.m., according to Lt. Paul Massarelli. Original reports stated that residents might be trapped in the blaze.

Personnel in the first arriving units found fire showing from the second and third floors of the building at 9110 Abigail Drive and a second alarm was dispatched, according to Massarelli.

Upon searching the involved floors, no one was found to still be in the building.

The fire was reported under control at 9:02 p.m. There were no reported injuries to either civilians or fire personnel.

About 25 pieces of fire equipment and 100 fire personnel reported to the scene, according to Massarelli.

The cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation.
