New York Man Arrested in Middle River Murder

Police allege that Quincy Jackson shot Nathan Bowles for having a romantic relationship with Jackson's wife.

A 42-year-old man was arrested in New York pending extradition to Maryland to face first-degree murder charges for the January killing of a Middle River man.

Quincy Jackson, 42, of the 900 block of Washington Ave. in Brooklyn, NY, has been accused of shooting and killing Nathan Bowles, 41.

According to a news release from the Baltimore County Police Department, officers responded at 10:03 a.m..

Upon arriving at the location, they discovered Bowles lying on the second floor landing of the apartment building. He had been shot multiple times and his death was later ruled a homicide by the medical examiner. The firearm was recovered at the scene.

Detectives located witnesses who provided information about the homicide, and additional information was received through the Metro Crime Stoppers program.

The detectives determined that the victim had been involved in a romantic relationship with a woman from Brooklyn, NY, and that her husband had previously threatened to kill the victim if he did not end the relationship. Jackson has been detained in New York since Feb. 25.

Bowles was a very good friend to me. This has touched me deeply and there won't be a day that I don't think of him. He did not deserve to dye. People make there choices and for jackson to say he killed nate for it is bs. I was in a relationship with nate and when I found out. About the "affair" I didn't want to go kill the other party involved. Death should never be the answer and he deserves to spend the rest of his life for the life he took. He took away someones son. Father. Brother. Sister uncle. Boyfriend ect. Crime of passion is a cop out. He planned what he did now he should pay..... I love You NATE R.I.P always and forever in my heart

Nate and I was good friends! We was like family. We lost a good brother in Nate. Teara, you probably know the things I know about the whole situation, but Quincy's action was not called for. I know all the things Nate did to add fuel to the fire, but again, DEATH? That wasn't the answer. So Teara if you return to this site, please share this info with me to help me understand!! I actually feel so sorry for all those that lost a great friend in Nate. I to Knew Quincy, and Never in my wildest dream did I think he was capable of doing such a thing. I always saw him, as a cool, calm, down to earth individual. Who loved his family, and enjoyed helping others in need. Quincy was a strong black man destined for great things. This is surely, a sad moment in life for all that knew either party. Love and War.........Life is Just CRAZY.
