12 Injured After Vehicle Rear-Ends MTA Bus

Police were called to the scene of the crash shortly after 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

A driver rear-ended an MTA bus Wednesday morning, trapping one and injuring 12, according to an MTA spokesman.

The crash occurred at Stemmers Run and Doolittle roads, MTA spokesman Terry Owens said. The call came into 911 about 10:15 a.m., police spokeswoman Elise Armacost said.

"The bus was stopped at a bus stop letting people off when a passenger vehicle rear-ended the [bus]," Owens said.

Owens said 12 people were transported to area hospitals. He said he had no information on their conditions. MTA and Baltimore County police are still investigating the crash, he said.
