UPDATE: Police Identify Men Arrested In Sunday Night Brawl

Three men were arrested and charged with first- and second-degree assault after a Sunday night brawl in Essex.

UPDATE (1:03 p.m.) — Police have identified two men who were charged in connection with a Sunday night brawl in Essex that left two people injured.

Brandon Chrockrem, 20, of the 11200 of Red Lion Road in White Marsh was charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault, and having dangerous weapon with the intent to injure, according to Cpl. Cathleen Batton, a Baltimore County Police Department spokeswoman.

Timothy Locklear, 43, of 100 block of S. Taylor Ave, was charged with second-degree assault, and unauthorized removal of property, Batton said.

Both men are free after posting $50,000 bond.

A third man arrested Sunday night remains unidentified after being released without criminal charge.

Two men were injured in a Sunday night melee near the corner of Taylor Avenue and Virginia Avenue in Essex.

Baltimore County police announced that when officers arrived on the scene around 8:10 p.m. on Aug. 5, in response to a call of a stolen automobile, they found a group of men fighting and using pipes as weapons.

The men, who knew each other, were allgedly fighting over the use of a nearby vehicle. Three men were arrested and charged with first- and second-degree assault, according to police.

Two of the men arrested were transported to area hospitals for treatment of wounds. One man had minor injuries and a possible stab wound, while the other was treated for a head injury, police said.

Police have not yet identified the names of anyone involved in the incident.
