Man Sought in Kidnapping, Assault in Rosedale

Police allege Marlow Otis McLane, 39, held two people against their will from May 10-11.

The Baltimore County Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 39-year-old man in connection with a kidnapping and assault that allegedly occurred between May 10-11 in Rosedale.

Police are seeking Marlow Otis McLane, of no fixed address. McLane is described as a black male,  approximately 5-foot-6, 180 pounds, with a beard and mustache. He may go by the alias Marlon McLean or the nickname, “Dee.”

According to a police news release, officers responded at 12:10 a.m., on May 11 to the 8200 block of Pulaski Highway where two people reported that they had been kidnapped, assaulted and held against their will at a trailer in the area.

The pair had been visiting a friend at his trailer when they got into an argument about money with another acquaintance. They left the location, but a man who investigators have identified as McLane allegedly forced the the two people to return, police said. The two individuals were assaulted and held against their will for nearly an hour, according to police reports.
