Man Assaulted, Robbed 86-Year-Old Baltimore County Woman: Police

Police are asking for help identifying the man who assaulted an 86-year-old woman after she found him in her Dundalk home last month, according to a statement the Baltimore County Police Department issued Wednesday.

The woman discovered a stocky white man was in her residence in the 8500 block of Kavanagh Road in Dundalk on May 16, according to police, who responded at 9:08 a.m. and found her with head injuries. She was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries, according to the report.

The victim told police the man took some personal items and a small amount of money, the report said.

Detectives are still trying to determine whether the crime was targeted, according to police.
