BGE crews were on the scene of a minor gas leak at Back River Neck Road.
The leak occured around 1:45 p.m. County police and fire units responded to the scene, but no injuries were reported. The occured while work was being done along Back River Neck Road which required the road to be closed between Old Eastern Avenue and E. Homberg Avenue.
BGE spokesperson Linda Foy said the road closure was not due to the gas leak.
