5 Armed Robberies This Week: Essex Crime
The Baltimore County Police Department provided the following information.
Walnut Grove at Hyde Park Road. 1:30 p.m. on March 24. A man robbed at gunpoint was taken to Franklin Square Hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening. The victim accepted a ride from a fellow passenger on the MTA bus, whose two acquaintances drove the victim away before taking out their guns and stealing his money.
Wiltshire Road, unit block. 9:30 p.m. on March 22. A person's money was stolen by one suspect with a knife and another with a gun.
Hartland Road at Middleborough Road. 4:30 p.m. on March 22. A man robbed another person of a phone at gunpoint.

Williams Avenue, 1600 block. 10:25 p.m. on March 20. As a man was walking home, three people stole his wallet, cigarettes and money. Two of the suspects had guns.
Vimy Court, unit block. 8 a.m. on March 20. Jewelry, a television and luggage set were reported stolen in a residential break-in. Police said that the suspect broke the front lock. The incident occurred sometime between 6:45 and 8 a.m.

Revolea Beach Road, 3500 block. 9 p.m. on March 18. Electronics and guitars were stolen after someone broke in through a front window.
Eastern Avenue, 1200 block. 3:35 p.m. on March 18. A 27-year-old Essex woman was charged with armed robbery after stealing two purses, money and a box of phone cases from the Cricket store. The suspect was armed with a knife, and one person experienced a minor injury.
Middleborough Road, 1600 block. 7:59 a.m. on March 18. A Rosedale teen was charged as an adult with first and second-degree assault after swinging a knife at a person he met at a bus stop. Police said the incident resulted in injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
